Greetings, Cloudbric.

Earlier this year, we shared a roadmap for Cloudbric in 2022.

With the good news that the project in the roadmap is progressing on time or faster, we would like to give you an additional explanation of the roadmap in 2022 to help you understand the blockchain project for this year.

[‘Threat DB’ Development — The foundation of the blockchain project]
The development of ‘Threat DB’, the Cyber Threat Database owned by Cloudbric, has been steadily progressing, and one of the achievements on it is that Cloudbric became the first blockchain security company to join the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) in March. Becoming a member of the CTA is one of the ways to prove that Cloudbric’s Threat DB is advanced, which means that data from Cloudbric labs have become more robust and expanded its scope to leverage Threat DB. With advanced Threat DB, we will be actively using it for several blockchain projects such as Crytobric 3.0 and SDP service development that we have planned in the future.

[Cryptobric 3.0 — The realization of SWG(Secure Web Gateway)]
We would like to make into realization on SWG (Secure Web Gateway) through Cryptobric 3.0 that was mentioned both in the roadmap and the Cryptobric update announcements. SWG is a technology that protects users from web-based threats on the Internet, preventing threats from performing sctions such as hacking from accessing endpoints. The realization of SWG means that Cloudbric opens up the possibility of providing a more advanced security framework.

[Development of SDP agent / Launching SDP Service — the realization of ZTNA]
As remote work expands and the cloud computing era continues, new security models are needed to protect people in a variety of work environments, devices, apps, and data wherever they are, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) is considered an increasingly relevant security model.

ZTNA focused on ‘access’ among Zero Trust, a cybersecurity model based on “Trust nothing”. This refers to a concept that is based on verification and does not unconditionally trust users who have access to the network.

Cloudbric has already realized ZTNA technology primarily with the release of Remote Access Solution (RAS). However, we want to upgrade to advanced ZTNA technology that can combine with blockchain technology and provide more functionality. In order to implement this, we would like to leverage Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) technology, which is a security framework that controls resource access based on user identity (network device and device status, ID, etc.). Alongside this, we will continue to take advantage of Cloudbric’s advanced Threat DB.

SDP Agent development must include preparation for SDP services. In the process of developing the SDP Agent, it has been determined that we are able to provide easy-to-use security for end users.

In order to deliver this to users faster, the SDP Agent development scheduled for Q3 on the roadmap has been completed ahead of schedule, and Cloudbric VPN was launched using this.

Cloudbric VPN, which boasts high connection speed using a high-performance protocol, is a virtual private network service that enhances security based on the rich security construction experience and accumulated know-how of information security companies.

SDP service that Cloudbric has planned provides secure access in highly threatened environments and expects thorough security controls to block unknown threats and even disguised information.

[SWG, ZTNA and Blockchain]
Blockchain, which is accessible only to authorized network members and builds trust, provides completely transparent data that is instant, shared, and immutable.

Information with efficiency, transparency, and reliability helps us to develop other new technologies, so we are looking to leverage the blockchain technology that Cloudbric has developed when implementing SWG and ZTNA technologies.

SWG solutions aim to provide a function to block information based on inappropriate or malicious information according to policies set by enterprise security experts.

Therefore, we are planning to block information that is considered harmful to users based on the reliability and security of blockchain technology by incorporating Cloudbric’s Threat DB into blockchain technology.

The core of ZTNA can be seen as ‘situation awareness and continuous authentication’. It is necessary to ensure that users who request access to a system are constantly validated and operate within normal usage. We plan to use blockchain technology to isolate not only authentication information but also dangerous information. We plan to deliver this both by using a function including the account, access rights, and device information used at this time, but also by utilizing blockchain technology with the isolation of information considered dangerous.

[Towards a distributed, integrated security platform]

As stated in the white paper, when launching the initial project, Cloudbric aims to provide a unified, distributed security platform and continues to scale its services in the right direction without issue. These service extensions will be linked in the long run to our token, CLBK’s staking or payment. Therefore, the more users of our service, the more CLBK areas will increase. Key launches such as GIFT Shop payment in Cryptobric last year, Cloudbric VPN in March this year, and Cryptobric v3.0 in the second quarter of this year will all greatly increase our user width, which will also increase CLBK usage in the future.

We hope this explanation helps you understand the future road map for Cloudbric.

Please give a lot of support to the various projects that Cloudbric is working on!
