Tor IP Detection Rule Set, a new rule set applicable to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Web Application Firewall (WAF) has been launched.

The Tor IP Detection Rule Set is a rule set designed to block Tor IPs that attempt to access through the Tor Browser.

Tor Browser is a powerful web browser designed to provide users with anonymous network services, and it gets its name from The Onion Routing technology it uses to ensure strong anonymity and circumvent censorship.

However, some users misuse Tor Browser for malicious activities due to the strong anonymity it offers. Also The Tor IP list is massive, from hundreds to thousands of data, and is updated every 40 minutes, making it difficult for users to manage it manually.

As a result, Cloudbric has launched the ‘Tor IP Detection Rule Set’ to help you manage security more easily and strongly.
