→ Blacklist IP Block service in development: 10% complete (estimated time of completion: 2020 2Q)
→ Support for Hacker Wallet Address and Phishing URL API: 30% complete (estimated time of completion: 2020 3Q)

  • Plans to develop a service that blocks all blacklisted IPs using the ‘Blacklist IP API’

  • GoDaddy reports data breach involving SSH access on hosting accounts — ZDNet
    GoDaddy on Tuesday reported [PDF] an October data breach to Californian authorities, stating that an unauthorised individual was able to access SSH accounts used in its hosting environment. The company said it has reset passwords and would provide impacted customers with a year of its website security and malware removal service for free.
  • Poor encryption exposes biometric database of 4.5 million Israeli citizens — Biometric Update
    The private information of some 4.5 million Israeli citizens, including biometric facial features, stored in the Transportation Ministry database for drivers licenses and a private database for smart biometric bus cards, is not getting the highest-level encryption and security to prevent data breaches or exploit attempts, found a report by the State Comptroller, writes the Jerusalem Post.
  • Hacker sells 22 million Unacademy user records after data breach — Bleeping Computer
    Online learning platform Unacademy has suffered a data breach after a hacker gained access to their database and started selling the account information for close to 22 million users. Unacademy is one of India’s largest online learning platforms boasting 14K teachers, over a million video lessons, and over 20 million registered users (learners).
